For ten years, Black August in the Park has been free because our community made it possible.
This year we’re introducing weekend passes to help build what comes next. Your support funds artists, production, local businesses, and the infrastructure that keeps BAP possible & accessible for future generations. We understand sometimes times get hard so if you don’t have funds to spare don’t worry, our “We Gotchu” program offers free tickets to anybody who needs it.

The weekend runs across four venues in Durham, North Carolina. Sunday’s Black August in the Park takes place at Durham Central Park, in downtown Durham.
